Capsular Tension Ring-CTR98

Research shows that 20-50% of cataract patients experience post-operative cataracts within five years after the surgery was first performed. This is caused by blurring at the posterior capsule after lens extraction. The Research Center for a Brighter World, an affiliate of Lucid Korea, has developed the lens-capsule-stabilizing ring through co-studies with several domestic universities (Seoul National University, Catholic University, Yeungnam University, etc.). The CTR-98 has been developed by Germany and a few other European countries. Lucid Korea also developed the CTR-98, and has been exporting it to Japan since 2000.
